At the begining of March is Purple cake day and my friend Sandra from Kiwicakes organised this at her kids school to give the all the kids a chance to decorate cupcakes. There were two cupcakes per child and the kids wore purple and raised a donation towards purple cake day

I made around 360 cupcake and 100′s of royal icing eyes – Sandra supplied ALL the goodies to enable the kids to decorate the cupcakes. Sandra, another lovely lady by the name of Lesley, and I spent several hours with the kids making monsters or other works of art. Loads of fun!
