YOUNG PEOPLE'S EVENT: Try out basic cake decoration techniques and then make some original designs. Cake design has developed in a spectacular art form, recently gaining much attention on television. Find out what is involved in creating a sugar sculptured cake with the cake artist Melanie Marley. Work on your own designs and learn some of the basic techniques involved. Please note decorations will be carried out on iced boards not on cakes.
